Jakki Thompson is the charity's CFO. She said: "Heavens was started to help others like myself who have been struggling with loss and learning how to carry on and live a full life after a devastating loss.
" We all lose people (and furry friends too) in life and sometimes that loss is just too much for us to process and move forward. We hope through our Early Loss, Memory and Sibling Boxes and our Angel Cards we can give some help and comfort to those who need it."
She added: "It is once again that time of year when we approach companies and individuals nationwide asking for your kindness in helping us with our yearly Online Silent Auction, which starts on the 30th April to 14th May.
"Last year we raised over £2,500, which enabled us to place more Early Loss Boxes than ever in funeral homes and hospitals throughout the UK (here in Northern Ireland, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Hampshire & Edinburgh).
"We cannot give enough thanks to all those who contributed to raising this total for us. It also helped us to meet the needs of those who came to us for Memory Boxes and Sibling Boxes and covered us for the 500+ Angel cards we sent out during 2024.
In 2025 we want to expand our reach even further. We are working with our team to get our boxes into more areas so we can make even more of a difference to those who have lost a baby. Each year one in four women and their partners will suffer a loss.
"We hope to help them to move forward in their journey by providing memories they did not get to make and letting them know they are not alone. We also continue to see a growing demand for our Angel cards (a free personalised card to or from a lost loved one) for anyone who has lost someone.
"We can only do this with the kind help given to us by those who lend their support to our yearly Auction Fundraiser, so any help you could give to us with an auction lot, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.
