The popular movie character was mobbed by families and fans, posing for photographs and videos, signing autographs and causing plenty of hilarious mischief and mayhem with families through out the day.

Earlier in the morning he volunteered his time to run a session with local children as part of YoMo charity partnership at the shopping centre.

The Yorkshire Grinch has recently been hailed the most authentic impersonater to the Jim Carrey character from the hit 2000 movie The Grinch Who Stole Christmas which was directed by Ron Howard and wrote by Dr Suess.

Ryan Swain, 34 from North Yorkshire who plays the character said: "It was brilliant to come to Scotland with the character, you do not realise the enormity of the character until you step in his shoes."

"Everyone at Glasgow Fort was lovely and it was great to meet you all."

This Christmas, Glasgow Fort is playing host to some famous names from the big screen inspired by Christmas classics The Grinch, Elf, The Santa Clause and Home Alone. There’s also a magic Wizard and a brass band playing all our favourite Christmas movie themes.
