Capital Radio presenter Katy J is making her highly anticipated return to the Theatre School of Scotland’s pantomime production of The Wizard of Oz!
This year, Katy takes on the delightfully quirky role of the Sat Nav, guiding Dorothy and her friends as they journey to the Emerald City.
After wowing audiences in her debut with the Theatre School of Scotland at last year’s Panto ‘Aladdin’, Katy is ready to step back into the spotlight and bring her signature humour and charm to this year’s festive fun.
“I’m like a proud bog sister. It’s a real thrill to watch on as the amazing young people I worked with last year mature into young performers who give the pros a run for their money!” said Katy J.
“We are buzzing to have Katy joining us again this year, we were so impressed with her effort and dedication to the production last year that we felt it was only right to have her back for a second go around!” said Principal and Director Reece Donnelly.
With Katy in the driver’s seat as the all-knowing Sat Nav, Dorothy’s journey to the Emerald City is sure to be full of unexpected detours, hilarious one-liners, and heart-warming moments that make pantomime season so special.
The Theatre School love to bring in a celebrity guest, as they believe not only does it level up the production, but it also helps provide the students with industry insight.
The Theatre School of Scotland aim to make their productions as close to a professional level to give students an accurate representation of what its like to be on the big stage next to big names!
The fantastic pantomime will be running from December 19 to 23 and tickets are more limited than ever so grab them whilst you still can!
