Large print copies of hymns are available at the front door of the church should you prefer that size. All children most welcome. Refreshments for all in the large hall after the church service.
Next Messy Church (B.B.Q. Messy) is being planned for Sunday 8 June starting at 3pm. Contact the church office if you wish your children to take part.
The next meeting of the Kirk Session and Congregational Board will be held this Thursday (8 May) starting at 7.30pm.
The Annual Christian Aid Lunch for the congregation will take place after morning worship next Sunday (11 May). A soup and sweet lunch is being planned at a cost of £4 for adults and £2 for children. Come along and support the very important work of the charity.
Christian Aid this year celebrate their 80th year delivering support in so many places around the world. A 80th Celebration Songs of Praise will be held on Thursday 15 May in St Mary’s Parish Church in Avon Street. The service starts at 7.30pm. After the service refreshments, including home baking, will be served in the hall.
The local Christian Aid Committee is hosting a “Strawberry Bliss Saturday” to support the work of the charity. This will be held in the large hall at The Kirk at the Cross (Motherwell) on Saturday 7 June from 10am until 12pm. Donations requested for attending and sharing the Strawberry the “Strawberry Bliss”.
Sunday 1 June in The Kirk at the Cross (Motherwell) an initial service will be held to mark the Union of the Congregations of Crosshill Parish Church and Dalziel St Andrew’s Parish Church. Following the service a Buffet Lunch will be served in the large hall, No charge will be made for attendance and participating at this special occasion.
The Annual Battalion Review of the Boys Brigade will be held in St Mary’s Parish Church on Friday 9 May, starting at 7.30pm. Come along and support the companies and the awards of King’s Badges; President’s Badges; and Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
Our Annual Parent’s and Friends night for our own 2/4 Company will be held in the church in our sanctuary on Friday 16th May, starting at 6.30pm. Come along and share in the many activities held at the B.B.
Crosshill Parish Church hold a “Coffee and Chat” each Thursday morning in their large hall. Start time is 11am with finish about 12.15pm. If you are near Windmillhill Street on Thursday morning, pop in and join them. They would be delighted to see you.
