Featuring a fresher, more modern design, the makeover has seen the pub undergo a complete transformation.
A revamped bar, stylish soft furnishings, enlarged dining space and a refreshed and rejuvenated beer garden are some of the recent changes that have been made to provide guests with a relaxed and welcoming environment to enjoy their visit.
Serving up great quality food, The Red Lion offers a great value fixed price menu with three courses available for £12.79 from 12pm – 5pm, Monday – Friday and £15.99 after 5pm, Monday – Friday.
But that’s not all — the pub has updated its menu to include a wide range of new, delicious dishes, including Grilled Seabass Fillets, Maple Glazed Belly Pork and Fisherman’s Catch. There is also a fixed price Sunday lunch menu with up to three courses available, including the classic pub roast, with guests able to add a three sides bundle including dishes such as Cauliflower Cheese, Pork, Leek & Apple Stuffing and Yorkshire Puddings for only £6.49.
In addition to the updated food menu two new cocktails are being added to the drink's menu, the refreshing Hugo Spritz and the ideal accompaniment to summer the Limoncello Spritz. The new cocktails are the perfect addition to any meal and are just one of the many drinks available from The Red Lion’s well-stocked bar along with their signature serves including the classic Courvoisier Cognac & Peach, Gordons & Elderflower, and red and white wines including Trebbiano Pinot Grigio and Halton Estate Merlot.
Located near to Solihull, The Red Lion is set in a charming grade 2 listed building. The pub is a great place for families to eat, drink, and relax after a long day spent exploring Hatton Country World, Knowle Locks, or Knowle Park.
