The 20-plus member cleaning team at HORIBA MIRA Technology Park in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, led by Site Cleaning Manager Karen Lord and Assistant Site Cleaning Manager Jean Green, was honoured for their outstanding commitment to maintaining one of the UK's most complex and prestigious facilities.
"As an organisation we are immensely proud of the longstanding achievements of our Management and Cleaning team based at MIRA Technology Park," said a We Clean representative. "We have successfully managed this complex cleaning operation covering 70+ individual buildings for approaching 10 years."
HORIBA MIRA Technology Park, Europe's largest automotive R&D cluster, presents unique cleaning challenges with its sprawling campus that includes 38 major testing laboratories, workshops, offices, and 100km of test tracks. The We Clean team has excelled in maintaining these diverse facilities that host some of the world's leading automotive and engineering companies.
The Dee Richards Team Pride Award was established in 2020 as an extension of the individual Pride Awards program. It recognizes teams that demonstrate unwavering dedication and outstanding service over an extended period.
The team was also recognised for their alignment with MIRA Technology Park's sustainability goals, including the deployment of four fully electric vehicles that allow the cleaning staff to navigate the extensive site in an environmentally responsible manner.
