No longer used by the broadcaster, the property at 37 Cartwright Street, close to Wolverhampton town centre, includes two ground-floor offices, one of which was the Radio Kanshi studio, which broadcast in both English and Punjabi, and a first-floor three-bedroom apartment.
The former radio station will feature, among more than 220 other properties and plots of land, in the next live-streamed auction to be held by SDL Property Auctions, part of Eddisons, on 29 May.
Andrew Parker, partner and auctioneer at SDL Property Auctions, said: “This property was full of the vibrancy of live community radio and it has great potential to be put to good use once again with the prospect of a strong rental income from the offices and residential apartment, which could be let separately.
“It’s also in an excellent location, on Cartwright Street, very close to Wolverhampton city centre and with a large number of thriving retail, trade counter and automotive businesses in the immediate area.”
