Over half term 41 learners from Lyndon School, part of the Summit Learning Trust, set off on an unforgettable adventure to Andorra, where they spent an exhilarating week embracing the slopes, developing new skiing skills, and creating lifelong memories.

The journey from Solihull to the snowy peaks of Andorra marked the beginning of a thrilling adventure.  Upon arrival, learners were introduced to their ski boots, equipped with all the necessary gear, and ready to take on the slopes of Pal Arinsal.  Over the next five days, they built confidence, mastered basic skills, and advanced to more challenging runs, conquering everything from green slopes to blue, and even red runs!

The slopes were alive with energy as learners demonstrated bright smiles, determination, and teamwork, even after the occasional fall.  The positive spirit of support from friends and teachers was visible every day, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie, and joy.  Beyond the slopes, the group enjoyed the sights and sounds of Andorra la Vella, the country’s capital.  Evenings were filled with fun activities, including bowling, shopping, and bonding over pizza and quiz nights.

The success of the Lyndon School Ski Trip 2025 has left learners feeling accomplished, motivated, and ready for future challenges—both on and off the slopes.  Many have developed a passion for skiing and are eager to return to the mountains in the future.

Head of School, Syreeta Kapswara said:

"The trip was an incredible experience for our learners.  They pushed themselves outside of their comfort zones, supported one another, and made memories that will last a lifetime.  We couldn’t be prouder of them."
