Ninestiles, an Academy, which is part of Summit Learning Trust, is one of only four schools shortlisted by the Education Awards for ‘Secondary School of the Year.’ The awards ceremony will be held on July 11 at Millennium Point.

This award is for the most outstanding secondary education establishment and, when making their decisions, judges look for evidence of how the school works as an establishment on its own and within the community that it is part of.

Summit Learning Trust is also one of only three trusts in the running for the ‘Transforming Lives Through Partnerships’ award. This category recognises educational settings who have transformed the life chances for young people through effective partnership working with organisations offering their services.

The trust comprises of three secondary schools, five primary schools and a sixth form college educating over 8000 learners. All the schools are based in the Birmingham and Solihull area, which allows the trust to work closely together for the benefit of all local children, young people, and the community.

Summit Learning Trust schools include:

Cockshut Hill School

Lyndon School

Ninestiles, an Academy

Solihull Sixth Form College

Pegasus Primary School

Yarnfield Primary School
