Canterbury Travel’s jolly jingle hits the charts

With less than 50 sleeps until Santa, award-winning Lapland specialist Canterbury Travel is getting into the Christmas spirit by announcing that their legendary festive anthem, The Elf Song, is now available to download on all major streaming platforms.

Santa's Elves

Composed by a creative team of Santa’s elves 35 years ago, deep in the Lapland forest, the jolly jingle has been a key part of the Lapland story since the 1990s. The song, adored by families across the world, tells the tale of the Search for Santa, the theme of Canterbury Travel’s renowned day trips and short breaks to Lapland.

For the first time, the song can now be downloaded on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. The full video is also available to view on YouTube.

Santa said: “Mrs Claus, the Elves and I have noticed that boys and girls everywhere have been extra good this year so as an extra Christmas treat, you can now stream "The Elf Song" on Spotify, Apple Music, and more. The whole family can burst into merriment singing along and children, there are no excuses for the grown-ups not to sing along now too. It’s not too late for you to come and find me in my Lapland home this Christmas, so tell your Mums and Dads they need to be quick. Merry Christmas everyone.”

It’s not too late to get away this Christmas, with last minute availability on a number of trips, including a new Enchanting Lapland day trip departure from London Stansted on 05 December (from £2,676 for a family of four) plus the three-night Magical Interlude short break available on various dates Gatwick, Manchester and Stansted (£5,160 per family of four).
