Whittle Gardens in Innsworth is home to an abundance of excellent houses and apartments, built by five-star developer Taylor Wimpey, which will be open for browsing this weekend at an open house event.

On Saturday, May 10, prospective homebuyers can explore the wide-range of beautifully-crafted spaces, and learn more about the different home styles and the structure of Shared Ownership with the expert sales team.

Between 10.30am and 4.00pm, visitors will be treated to refreshments and home tours at the new homes development, which lies in a the perfect spot for homeowners to enjoy the luxury of the Gloucestershire countryside without being detached from larger nearby settlements.

Bromford Shared Ownership gives first-time buyers and those who do not currently own a property the opportunity to secure a new build home with Bromford. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own, and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a smaller deposit is required.

Then, when the time is right, the homeowners can purchase more shares through a process called staircasing, gradually increasing the ownership of the home.

Jon Wakefield, Sales Manager at Bromford, said: “Our open house events always help us to showcase the very best of Bromford, displaying our excellent homes as well as the ease with which buyers can be guided through the homebuying process which can often be a daunting thought.

“We’re really looking forward to welcoming home seekers from across Gloucestershire to view our range of excellent, energy-efficient homes at this development.

“Our partnership with Taylor Wimpey at both developments assures us and our buyers that they’re settling down in fantastic homes in great locations.”

Whittle Gardens is located in Innsworth, which offers the peace of village living with plenty of local amenities. For families, there are a range of high-quality schools, including Innsworth Infant School for children aged four to seven, Innsworth Junior School for ages seven to 11, and Sir Thomas Rich’s Secondary School for ages 11 onwards, which has an Ofsted rating of ‘Outstanding’.

Gloucester city centre is just three miles away. For days out, The Gloucester Quays Outlet offers a mix of designer labels and high street fashion at a fraction of the recommended retail price. Gloucestershire countryside is also close by for hiking, and The Gloucester Guildhall offers a variety of events, such as live music, comedy, theatre and film.

For commuters, there is easy access to the M5, and direct trains to London Paddington, Cardiff and Bristol from Gloucester train station.
