This sales performance is marked by increasing demand for apartments in the Bristol housing market, as recent data suggests that the average time apartments spend on the market in Bristol has decreased by 6% over the past year.

Bedminster is rich in community and culture, Factory No.1 is in a prime location just a five-minute walk away from a vibrant high street, for those looking to invest in both lifestyle and location. Almost 35% of homeowners at Factory No.1 are first-time buyers aged between 26-35.

Dan Cramphorn, homeowner at Factory No.1, commented: “As one of the first residents in Factory No.1, I was lucky enough to be part of the development’s exciting progression. I watched as the development grew and was able to identify which apartment would cater for my family’s next step. I work from home, so it was key that we had more space, and more importantly, space to step away from everyday work life and into home life.”

Factory No.1 is a transformation of a former tobacco factory, sensitively restored by City & Country with a modern design that reflects the location’s iconic architecture. The development itself comprises a mix of restored and new-build apartments and penthouses, many of which feature private outdoor spaces and access to beautifully landscaped gardens.

Shelley West, Group Sales and Marketing Director at City & Country, added: “Factory No.1 has become such a well-established part of Bedminster’s regeneration story. Many first-time buyers are architecting a life for themselves in Bedminster, searching for not only a home but the lifestyle too, with character, connectivity and culture that appeals to the new generation of homeowners, Bedminster ticks all those boxes.”

Bedminster, once Bristol’s industrial heartland, is now one of Bristol’s most dynamic districts. With a mix of independent shops, cafes, bars and creative spaces, along with London from Temple Meads train station, just a 15-minute walk away taking just 1 hour 30 minutes to get into London. Bedminster also offers a variety of green spaces, with South Street Park a short 10-minute walk from Factory No.1.

A limited number of homes remain, making this the ideal time for prospective buyers to secure their new home.
