Specsavers in St. Mary’s Shopping Centre, which is locally owned and run, has been sponsoring the Olveston District Bowling Club for more than 10 years and recently supported its competitive club night.
‘We’ve built a brilliant relationship with the club over the last decade,’ Sarah McGowan, store director at Specsavers Thornbury, says. ‘We’re really pleased to continue supporting them and the club night is an exciting way to kickstart another year of sponsorship.
‘The Club plays an important role in the local community so we’re pleased to be able to show our support so that they can continue to offer members, both existing and new, an opportunity to come and play bowls at what is a fantastic facility.’
