“New networking group Community Connect brings local businesses together”

In July, The Hampton by Hilton Corby launched a new networking group called "Community Connect," aimed at supporting local businesses, tourist destinations, and clubs in the area.

Fiona Stacey, Director of Sales

Created and lead by the hotel's Director of Sales, Fiona Stacey, this initiative is designed to offer an informal and welcoming space for businesses to connect, collaborate, and elevate one another.

Community Connect provides a platform for small and local businesses to meet and share experiences, promote events, and discuss initiatives in a relaxed atmosphere. "The power of networking is truly magical when it comes to building contacts who can support your business," said Fiona Stacey. "However, it can also feel daunting, especially for those new to networking. I wanted to create an environment where anyone could attend with ease and confidence, knowing they’d receive a warm welcome."

The event is open to all businesses, tourist destinations, and club members for a small fee of £5. This provides an affordable opportunity for participants to expand their network, promote their businesses, and learn from others. Sessions will run from 9:30am to 11:00am, offering plenty of time for attendees to make meaningful connections throughout the morning and start off the week right.

There is one date left for 2024 on Monday 11th November and upcoming dates for our 2025  Community Connect are set for January 13, March 10, May 12, July 14, September 8, and November 10.
