Credenhill currently employs 36 people from the surrounding area and over the years has provided jobs to many more. During the past seven decades, the company has evolved to meet the changing needs of the healthcare sector, ensuring that patients receive the best possible support for conditions such as venous disorders, lymphoedema, leg ulcers, pregnancy-related swelling and post-surgical recovery. Credenhill has tripled its revenue over the last eight years and doubled its warehouse area on the Cossall Industrial Estate and now trades under the name Daylong Direct.
Paul Grove, CEO of Credenhill, says: “We specialise in ensuring that people in need quickly receive the right compression garment. It is a very personalised service as everyone’s needs are different and being accurate and fast are essential. We provide dedicated support over the phone whenever needed. We found that delays in patients receiving their garments were quite common and caused an unnecessary wait and longer healing times, our company ethos is: Speed, Accuracy and Choice.”
“My father, who was first employed in 1955, went on to purchase all the shares in Credenhill, year-by-year, throughout his working life. I then gradually bought the majority shareholding in a business that I now own with my sister. We are immensely proud of our workforce and endeavour to look after them well. Employees tend to stay with us for a long time and we regularly celebrate team members’ 20-year anniversaries at the company. My father’s hard work and determination in the early years laid the foundation for the business we proudly run today. It is a testament to the values of resilience, integrity and a dedication to improving people’s lives.”
With a history of excellence and a vision for the future, Credenhill looks forward to many more years of serving the community with innovative and patient-focused solutions.
