Volunteers have been busily working away at the regeneration of the community hall, giving many hours of their time to the project. The village hall aims to become a central hub for community use and will be hosting regular events and activities encouraging local people to make full use of the facilities. One of these events will be A Comedy Theatre Group’s Christmas pantomime, which will provide a wonderful opportunity for local people to come and see what has been achieved and to join in with a celebration of all their hard work.
The recently refurbished and reopened village hall in Wollaston will be playing host to the traditional end of year pantomime performed by members of A Comedy Theatre Group.
This year it’s Cinderella – a panto for all the family!
With heroes to cheer, villains to boo, colourful characters, corny jokes, wonderful singing, and a few surprises, this panto promises to be a treat for all the family – for young and not quite so young!
Written by Steve Carey Wooldrige and directed by Phill Liptrot, the show features an enthusiastic cast of local amateur actors who love bringing joy to audiences.
The shows will be performed at 7pm on Friday 13th, 2pm and 7pm on Saturday 14th and at 2pm on Sunday, 15th of December.
A Comedy Theatre Group is a Stourbridge based community theatre company which has been producing and performing plays, sketch shows and family pantomimes locally for over fourteen years. Anyone who has attended the group’s previous shows will know how much fun they are.
