Eastwood Council launching free gardening service to help elderly and disabled residents

Eastwood Council is starting a free service to help elderly or disabled people in the town with tidying up their gardens.

Eastwood Council is launching a new free gardening service for elderly and disabled residents.

To qualify for the service, people need to:

Be an elderly and/or disabled person living within the town boundary.

Live in an owner-occupied or privately rented address.

Be able to confirm that they are not able to obtain assistance with this type of work from relatives, friends or Broxtowe Council.

Application forms are available from the town council offices on Nottingham Road, which are open from 10am to 2pm, Monday to Thursday.

Completed forms need to returned to Garden Services, FAO Civic Officer, Eastwood Town Council, 120c Nottingham Road, Eastwood, NG16 3NP.
