In pictures: Kimberley Christmas lights switch-on 2024

Christmas has started in Kimberley after a large crowd turned out in the town centre for the festive lights switch-on.

Crowds were showered in snow as the lights were switched on.

The event was centered around Toll Bar Square and Victoria Street Car Park with the food, fair rides, an outdoor mini-market, music and carols.

Holy Trinity Children's Dance Group also entertained the crowds with a festive routine before Santa arrived on his sleigh ahead of the switch-on, which was followed by fireworks.

Santa also welcomed youngsters to his grotto at Rumbeltums Cafe.
