Amongst the top achieving students at the Mansfield Road school was Elise Catlender, who achieved all top grades and said she was ‘happy’ and ‘had done better than she expected’.
This year’s most successful subject has been geography.
James Ford, trust director for geography, commented: “We are delighted with the geography results this year and incredibly pleased that the students’ hard work and dedication has led to a set of results we can really be proud of.”
There has also been a rise in the number of students achieving English Baccalaureate this year, and students have achieved GCSEs across five different languages.
David Crossley, head teacher, said: “These results are the outcome of the dedicated efforts of both students and staff.
"We are thrilled that so many of our students have excelled and are now moving on to their chosen Post-16 destinations.
"We are particularly pleased that many have opted to continue their education at Hall Park.
"We are immensely proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing where their future paths will lead them.
“Year 10 students have also earned record-breaking results in GCSE religious studies, with 20 per cent achieving a grade 6 and above.
"We look forward to seeing this achievement continue in their final GCSE year.”
One of the students achieving a 9 was Isobel Speight who said: “I’m so proud of myself, I put so many hours into revising and believe the teaching really helped.”
Hall Park Academy is part of the Redhill Academy Trust.
Students have benefitted from support from the trust throughout their time at Hall Park, including events to broaden their horizons, raise aspirations and support their progression to higher education.
Hall Park also has a vibrant and growing sixth form with a new study area.
The sixth form open evening is Wednesday, November 6 and all interested students and parents are urged to come and see what the school has to offer.
