Elf Trail Raises Funds For Aberdeen School

An Aberdeen housebuilder drafted in the help of Santa’s elves to create an Elf on the Shelf inspired trail in its recently opened walled garden.

The ten elves were hidden around the gardens at Craibstone Estate

Cala Homes (North) welcomed 60 local children to the trail who were tasked with finding the ten mischievous elves which had escaped from Cala’s showhome at Craibstone Estate.

Following the event, Cala donated £300 to nearby Brimmond Primary School, which had encouraged its pupils to help find the elves. Each child who completed the trail also received a Christmas treat.

Samantha Leckie, Marketing Manager at Cala Homes (North), said: “We’d like to thank the children who came along to our trail for helping to find the pesky elves who had escaped from our showhome and were causing havoc in our walled garden, which forms part of the development and is a space for residents to enjoy.

“We can confirm they are all safely back in the showhome and ready to travel back to the North Pole with Santa.”
