He was also keen to understand if healthcare needs were being met to which we were pleased to share that the feedback from residents on the local doctor’s surgery and dental practice is very positive. Sir Geoffrey was very impressed with our development and said he wouldn’t mind moving in! Although in a few years once he has retired! It was a delight to welcome him, and we look forward to another visit in the not-so-distant future.”

The residents at Beechwood House enjoyed a Q&A session with Sir Geoffrey where they covered an array of topics that directly affect the community including issues such as traffic calming measures on the Fosseway, and potholes in local roads - during which time Sir Geoffrey discussed innovative new technologies which were being rolled out across the local area to tackle this problem in a quicker, more efficient manner. Sir Geoffrey was also given a tour of the development and its facilities, whilst he concluded his visit by enjoying informal chats with staff and residents who also shared how wonderful the onsite Slate and Grain brasserie is, prompting the MP to commit to another visit soon to sample the delicious menu. The visit concluded with an open invitation for the residents to visit the House of Provence for a guided tour which was well received.
