Out of thousands of submissions, Alpine Fire has been recognised alongside organisations like The Alzheimer’s Society, Sony Music UK, NHS and many more. This award celebrates Alpine Fire’s great culture and people-focused approach.

The Inspiring Workplaces Awards has recognised the top companies to work for in the UK and Ireland for a decade, focusing on those that foster a collaborative and community-driven work environment. The entries are assessed based on six key facets – Purpose and Culture, Leadership, Wellbeing, Inclusion, Employee Voice, and Experience.

Alpine Fire, which operates across the UK, was commended for implementing several initiatives that have helped encourage a positive workplace, including environmental clean-up days where employees can contribute to a cause that benefits their local community. Additionally, its trainee programme provides the opportunity for individuals to expand or learn new skills, as well as allowing trainees to explore different departments to ensure they find the right role and people who will support their growth.

These initiatives have increased employee engagement, productivity, and overall success; Last year, Alpine Fire was also listed in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024.

The judges commented: "Alpine demonstrates an outstanding commitment to employee wellbeing, leadership, development and a people-driven culture - an impressive, people-centric entry with a strong foundation for future growth and continued excellence.”

Claire Owens, managing director at Alpine Fire Group comments: “We are honoured to be recognised as one of the Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces in the UK and Ireland. We take pride in prioritising our employees, and since 97% of our team would recommend Alpine as a great place to work, I believe we have successfully created an enjoyable and vibrant work environment.

“Achieving this award affirms that when you put people at the heart of your business, everyone is given the opportunity to thrive and succeed.”

Alpine Fire’s dedication to creating an inspiring workplace has aided its growth plans to attract and retain top talent. As part of its ongoing growth, in October 2024 Alpine Fire acquired DAS Fire – a market leader in supplying fire detection and suppression solutions to the data centre sector across the UK and Ireland.
