Taking place Saturday 17th – Sunday 18th May on the festival field behind The Wayfarer Brewpub & Dining Rooms, the festival offers a full weekend of live music and outdoor fun, with camping available for the full experience.
“We love a good covers band, but this festival is about discovering artists we hope to see at Glastonbury in a few years,” say organisers Katie Street and Rachel Birkett. And they’re making it happen—previous acts have gone on to play major festivals and feature on BBC Music Introducing, including Elba Rose, Fleurs, Alex Spy, Shannon Gillespie, and Hannah Mazey.
This year’s line-up brings together some of the most exciting original artists from across the North West and beyond. Highlights include George Pelham, whose soulful vocals and slick songwriting have racked up over 8 million streams and appearances on BBC Radio and at Latitude Festival; Talk In Code, a synth-pop outfit praised for their catchy, cinematic sound; and Long Island, fresh from slots at Tramlines and Truck Festival. Add to that rising stars like Casino Club, who’ve sold out headline shows off the back of their debut EP, and Connor Banks, a country-tinged singer-songwriter already turning heads on the live scene.
New for 2025, the festival will also host The North West Strength Classic on the Saturday from 11am—a Strongman competition welcoming both men and women to compete in a series of tests of strength and stamina.
In addition to the music and strength events, festivalgoers can expect:
