Santa made an early appearance this season at Ripon Community House’s Christmas Craft Fair.
The festive event hosted a range of local artists’ handmade gifts, decorations, and delicious treats. It even featured a magical Santa's Grotto that delighted children and adults alike.
The craft fair not only celebrated the incredible talent of Ripon’s local artists but also had a meaningful purpose – all proceeds went directly back into Ripon Community House to ensure it can continue to offer a welcoming space for all.
As proud sponsors, Specsavers Ripon helped Santa by providing the presents for the children, ensuring that every young visitor left with a smile and a gift, thanks to Santa and his cheerful elves.
Adding to the day, the opticians had their own stall where visitors could take a break from browsing and get their glasses cleaned and adjusted.
Annette Duffy, retail director at Specsavers Ripon, says: ‘We’re proud to have been part of the festive spirit at Community House. It was an absolute joy to help Santa and his Elves prepare for the big day, and seeing the kids get excited to meet him was a gift in itself.
‘We have many talented artists throughout Ripon and the fair was a wonderful way for members of the community to get in the Christmas mood, all while giving back to those around them. We can’t wait to continue the celebrations with the return of The Giant Snow Globe on Market Square from the 13 December, where families will be able to capture a magical moment this Christmas.’
