Gabriella Agnello from South Liverpool, Emily Blunt from Speke and Olivia Caci from Newcastle-under-Lyme will be taking part in the 13.1 mile event on Sunday, 18 May.
This will be the trio’s first Chester half marathon, in which they will be raising funds for The Countess of Chester Hospital.
The event, now is its 43rd year, will begin from the Chester Racecourse, continues out through the city’s historic walls and into countryside, before finishing outside Chester’s Town Hall and Cathedral.
Olivia and Gabriella both work at Redrow’s King’s Moat Garden Village, on Wrexham Road, Chester, and have been busy clocking up the training miles in preparation for the event.
“Now with the evenings getting a bit lighter we’ve been able to do a few runs into Chester after work. It’s nice that we can get out together,” said Gabriella, 30.
“We’re really looking forward to taking part in this event and raising much needed funds for the Countess.”
Olivia, 25, added: “I’ve taken part in a few running events, but this will be my first time in Chester so I’m looking forward to taking in the atmosphere.”
Emily, 23, who is based at Redrow’s The Grange at Yew Tree Park development in Burscough, said: “I’ve started to increase my training and I’m running more miles than I ever have. I’m very excited to be taking part in this event.”
Anna Evans-Kerr, sales director at Redrow NW, said: “Everyone at Redrow NW is behind Gabriella, Olivia and Emily every step of the way and we wish them lots of luck in their fundraising.”
