The Freddie Farmer Foundation helps children aged 3-16 years affected by cerebral palsy and mobility problems, as well as providing support for their families and carers.
Based in Bromley, children attend the physio centre, and the charity support families from as far as London, Surrey, Sussex and other parts of Kent too.
Karen Smith, Charity Centre Manager at the Freddie Farmer Foundation said: “Over the past ten years, we've supported hundreds of disabled children through our specialist therapy services.
We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and so grateful to every child, family, therapist, supporter, and volunteer who has been part of this journey.
“We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary at Oakley House. The event was a special thankyou to everyone and to mark this important milestone. We were delighted that Captain Fantastic joined us to entertain around 25 children plus their families. It really made for a magical day. Here’s to the next ten years of making a difference, together. “
Kris Mitchell, entertainer and franchisee owner of Captain Fantastic Kent commented: “What an honour to perform our sensory magic show at the event.Bubbles, snow, lights and puppetry plus plenty of dancing and laughter ensured all the children and their families had a wonderful time.”
Captain Fantastic was originally set up in London in 2010 and was franchised in 2017.
