The glamorous event was attended by shareholder members within both the Fortec and Pall-Ex networks, alongside international partners from across the Pall-Ex Group. Fortec Distribution Network is part of the Pall-Ex Group which comprises over 130 independent haulage firms that work together to collect and deliver palletised freight across the UK.
The Fortec Member of the Year award, sponsored by Flogas, is one of the most coveted awards of the night. Voted for by other members of the network, the highly prized accolade was presented to LHT Logistics in recognition of its outstanding commitment, dedication and quality service to the Pall-Ex Group network.
Established in 2001, family-owned LHT Logistics has gained a well-deserved reputation in consistently providing a top-quality and reliable transport service in both light and general haulage.
Ben Ruby, managing director at LHT Logistics, commented, “We are absolutely thrilled to have won Fortec Member of the Year against some stiff competition. Voted for by our peers within the network, the win signifies just how far we have come over the last 12 months and is a testament to the hard work and commitment of the entire team.”
Barry Byers, UK managing director, Pall-Ex Group, commented: “Our awards are designed to recognise and reward those members who have gone above and beyond for the network, delivering fantastic results and ensuring the highest standards have been met. I am delighted that LHT Logistics has won the Fortec Member of the Year having narrowly missed out on the title last year. The team’s commitment, hard work and dedication has shone through this year, and they are very worthy winners indeed.”
