The pub has been given a facelift while keeping its traditional look and feel inside. Changes include the removal of the front pillars to create a more open and airy space along with new furniture throughout.
The Gipsy Moth, which was named after the fastest small vessel to voyage around the world, is renowned for its large and inviting beer garden. This, along with the side garden with its stunning views over the famous Cutty Sark, have also undergone a transformation making them even more appealing.
This fantastic transformation includes the addition of large umbrellas complete with heaters, meaning both of the outside spaces can be enjoyed all year round.
Guests can tuck into all the pub classics including traditional fish and chips, burgers and sharing platters as well as a delectable range of Sunday roasts.
Along with the new food menu, guests will also be greeted with an extensive drinks’ menu, boasting a wide selection of craft beers, ciders and cocktails.
Speaking about the refurbishment, General Manager, Ruth Grant, at Gipsy Moth said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to reopen our doors and welcome everyone back after the refurbishment. The team has worked incredibly hard to create a space that feels fresh and inviting while staying true to the character our customers love. We can’t wait to see familiar faces and new ones enjoying the updates we’ve made—it’s an exciting new chapter for the Gipsy Moth!”
Following the extensive refurbishment and significant investment made at the pub, three new jobs have been created for the local area, with the team now ready to pour pints and serve delicious food to guests.
