As part of the affiliation, Specsavers Wood Green, which are locally owned and run, are the team’s main kit sponsor, providing all players with brand-new jerseys in the club’s signature colours.
Based in North London and formed one year ago, the inclusive football club welcomes female players of all abilities aged 16 and above.
Nilufar Basit, retail director at Specsavers Wood Green, says she feels it is important to help grassroots football clubs, many of which often struggle for funding.

With a roster of over 20 players of mixed ages, the club hosts regular training sessions at New River Sports Centre (Thursdays 7-8 pm) and competes in various tournaments and London leagues.
