Stagecoach Isleworth students turns mentor to inspire future young performers

Stagecoach Performing Arts students from Isleworth took centre stage in a scarily moreish performance at the iconic Shaftesbury Theatre on London’s West End! Young performers, aged 11 to 18, all from Isleworth, performed a piece with a selection of songs from Beetlejuice which chilled the audience to the bone with delight!

The ghoulish numbers performed included ‘Fright of Their Lives’ – ‘The Book/Obituaries’, ‘No Reason’, ‘Say My Name’, ‘What I Know Now’ and ‘Jump in the Line/Home’ – All from the Beetlejuice Original Broadway Musical.

Valerie Weyland, Principal at Stagecoach Isleworth, was devilishly inspired by her student’s performance:

‘Most of the students have been with us for many years so it's a lot like a family. It was lovely to see friendships that have been grown over the many years at Stagecoach support each other on such a special occasion.

It was exceptionally poignant as it was the last performance with our West End Troupe one of our students who has been with us since he was four. Atharv (18) performed like a true professional. But it's not really goodbye as Atharv now works at our school like many of our students before him.’

With performances like this, Stagecoach continues to offer young people opportunities to build their confidence, Creative Courage and take their new skills to extraordinary places.

Stagecoach is for children aged 4 to 18 years of age and aims to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes, stretch young imaginations and help develop students’ confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and fun.
