For those runners who didn’t get a place, Iceland will be making sure they still get their runners high by offering an alternative marathon and dishing out hundreds of pounds to those who take on the challenge to take a selfie at all Iceland stores along the way.
The first 10 people to snap a selfie in front of all nine Iceland stores along a unique 26.2 mile route on Sunday 27th April and email their photos to icelandbonuscard@iceland.co.uk will each score a £100 boost on their Bonus Card, perfect for refueling after racking up the miles.
Alongside this, the first person to complete this challenge on the day will win an incredible £1,000. Iceland will also match this with a donation of £1,000 to St John Ambulance in recognition of their amazing support for runners on marathon day.
To be in with the chance to win, participants will need to snap a selfie outside each of the below stores on Sunday 27th April:
