Following the immense success of its Sanderling Reach development, where 90% of homes are now sold, City & Country is fulfilling its promises to improve the local community. As part of its Section 106 agreements, City & Country will invest funds to enhance the general quality of life in the Mersea community, supporting its infrastructure and services for residents for years to come.
As it stands, City & Country has committed to invest over £470,000 in contributions to the local community. This includes investing £235,000 in maintaining green open spaces for the local community, £18,000 in archaeological contributions and £59,000 towards local healthcare, and over £160,000 in contributions to the local community. Additionally, 30% of the homes at Sanderling Reach will be made available to purchase through Shared Ownership or rent affordably, making it easier for those struggling to get on the property ladder to afford a home.
These investments will continue to unfold as the development progresses, reflecting on City & Country’s dedication to not only building homes, but creating a better and more vibrant community for its residents to thrive in.
