Stalybridge-based online teaching resource Scode Spelling announces partnership with Hyde-headquartered Findel

Stalybridge-based online systematic and phonics-based spelling scheme Scode Spelling has announced a partnership with Hyde-headquartered educational resources supplier Findel.

Developed by experienced educators Emma Skeldon and Jill Warburton, Scode Spelling provides a structured approach to spelling for Years 2-6, building seamlessly on early years phonics teaching.


The partnership sees Scode Spelling join Findel’s incubator programme, which is run by the company’s education platform, EuHu.

Pronounced ‘yoo-hoo’ and short for Educator Hub, EuHu is Findel’s free-to-use and subscription-based online platform, featuring content created by expert educators.


Scode Spelling covers all aspects of the national curriculum through carefully structured lessons, planned and resourced by teachers, for teachers.


With a strong emphasis on etymology and morphology, Scode Spelling helps pupils understand the reasons behind spelling patterns, enhancing their linguistic awareness and retention.


The scheme includes term overviews, detailed lesson plans, assessments and daily retrieval activities to reinforce learning and maximise student progress.
