Store partner Douglas Waugh gave Mr McNally a tour of the store’s facilities, which has recently undergone a refit as part of a £50,000 investment, giving a fresh new look to the store and ensuring the high street retailer is offering the best in-store customer experience.
Douglas discussed how the store is able to bring services closer to the community, supporting the wider health service, and how Specsavers is ready to do more even more to support the NHS and reduce pressures on local GP services.
Mr NcNally also experienced what takes place in a hearing test during their visit, while learning more about the store’s audiology services such as wax removal which provides essential hearing care to the community.
"Seeing and hearing first-hand how Specsavers Bellshill is supporting the health and wellbeing of our community was very insightful," says Mr McNally. "We also talked about how Specsavers has an important role in Bellshill, supporting local community groups and charities, as well as providing valuable jobs and careers."
Douglas Waugh, store director at Specsavers Bellshill, says: "It was a pleasure to welcome Mr McNally to Specsavers especially at such an exciting time where the store has just seen an impressive upgrade. We were able to discuss how we provide access to a range of eye and hearing health services to the people of Bellshill.
