With the guidance of Stephen Maginnis we are mastering not only line dancing but also jive and waltz etc. We're not quite up to the level of 'Strictly' but having great fun trying.
Sessions are held every Thursday at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre, Newry Street, Rathfriland (£3 per session). Everyone is welcome. The Community Lottery Fund supports these events.
Rathfriland WI (Women's Institute) actively supports women in the community and meets regularly on the first Tuesday of the month at 7.45pm in the Parish Centre, Newry Street, Rathfriland. We organise Book Clubs, a lunchtime Dining Club, trips to the theatre and cinema or simply just meet for coffee and a chat. Our train trips to Dublin are always a great success.
