A hometown hero is bringing Hollywood-level magic to our doorstep.

Northamptonshire’s own Sean Heydon, fresh off making national headlines on Britain’s Got Talent, has chosen Egerton Hall in Brackley to debut “Interlinked” on June 7.

Play Icon

Teaming up with fellow mentalist Kerry Jay, Heydon will pay homage to the classic telepathy acts of the past while delivering a mind-reading experience never before seen in our community. “Interlinked” draws inspiration from The Piddingtons – a famed husband-and-wife mentalism team of the post-war era – and updates it for 2025 with a cinematic twist.

On the day after the world commemorates D-Day, a different kind of history is about to be made in Brackley. At the charming Egerton Hall, magician Sean Heydon and mentalist Kerry Jay will unveil “Interlinked”, a luxurious new mentalism act inspired by the legendary Piddingtons – the husband-and-wife telepathy duo whose 1940s BBC broadcasts became the most famous stage and radio telepathy acts of modern times .

Blending old-world glamour with cutting-edge showmanship, Interlinked promises to transport audiences to a realm of mystery and wonder in a one-night-only debut as part of the Viral Magic Show, hosted by The Lounge Cafe Bar. Below is a press release in additions both Kerry and Sean are available for interviews on request.

Local audiences may remember Sean Heydon as the magician who “shot to fame on the hit TV show Britain’s Got Talent” with an unbelievable time-travel card trick that astonished the nation.

In a 2020 audition that aired on BGT, Sean literally turned back time – making the clocks on everyone’s phones mysteriously rewind nine minutes – and even plucked the exact card Simon Cowell had merely thought of.

The act left the judges and Ant & Dec utterly speechless; as judge David Walliams remarked, it was “an amazing moment”, and Amanda Holden said Sean “suspended [the judges’] disbelief”. The trick’s success propelled Heydon to the next round of the show and earned him praise from around the world – including an encouraging message from spoon-bending legend Uri Geller, who told Sean: “you do it better than me…I don’t know how you do it…you’re amazing” .

Now, Brackley is set to witness Sean’s next grand achievement. Interlinked will see Heydon and Kerry Jay performing in perfect sync, reading thoughts and sharing psychic impressions in real time.

“This is a dream come true to premiere in my home county,” Heydon says. “Kerry and I have been interlinked in mind preparing this act – it’s our love letter to the golden age of mentalism, but with the energy of a Hollywood thriller.”

Expect Egerton Hall to be transformed for one night into a stage worthy of Las Vegas or a West End theater, complete with dramatic lighting, live music, and a dash of red-carpet flair. Local business The Lounge Café Bar is proudly hosting the event as part of the Viral Magic Show, which showcases social media’s greatest illusions performed live.

Interlinked is not just another magic show – it’s a point of local pride. Sean Heydon grew up in Naseby and honed his craft performing at Northampton venues before conquering national TV .

Now an internationally recognised entertainer, he returns to give back to the community that first believed in his magic. Kerry Jay, his partner on stage, brings her own Brackley roots and a charismatic presence known to local audiences. Together, they form a star-quality duo set to put Brackley on the magic map. “We’re thrilled to start this journey at home,” adds Kerry Jay. “The community’s support means everything. We can’t wait to share the wonder of Interlinked with our neighbors and friends.”
