A 4-0 victory over Corby Locos meant Blisworth won the league after finishing runners up the last three seasons.
The side has been undefeated since losing at Woodford last August and Saturdays win made it 31 games unbeaten in all competitions.
Its been a golden period for Blisworth’s first team over the last ten years, winning the league five times and the team has not finished outside the top 2 since 2014.
Blisworth have also reached the League cup final for a seventh successive time, a record for the Northants Combination League. They will play Harpole in the final, a repeat of the 2023 edition where Blisworth won 5-4 on penalties after a 0-0 draw. The game takes place at Silebys ground on Thursday 15th,May.
Eight days before that, Blisworth will play higher league, Desborough Town in the Northants FA Junior Cup Final.
This will be Blisworth’s 5th appearance in the last 7 finals. Before that, Blisworth appeared twice in the final, the first time in 1989 when they beat Kettering Town Reserves at the now defunct Irthlingborough Diamonds ground.
The club has done, and are the only comb side to do so, the treble back in 2017 when they beat Raunds Town at Sixfields to win the Junior Cup and Kettering Nomads at Sileby to win the league cup after clinching the title.
This season, Blisworth also had to play all their ‘home’ games at Kislingbury while their clubhouse and changing room rebuild is completed.
The new build will be completed by the end of June and Blisworth will be running 30 sides next season from Under 7’s thru to seniors.
Blisworth are now established as one of Northamptonshire’s biggest clubs.

This Saturday, Blisworth host Roade who themselves finished runners up in their final league game. Blisworth Reserves head to Wellingborough to play Old Grammarians.
