Lincolnshire Energy Conference

There’s still time for East Midlands businesses to get their tickets for the Lincolnshire Energy Conference - a pivotal event designed to help shape the future of energy use.

The conference has a regional focus but with national and international speakers, with topics to prompt debate and discussion, looking at the challenges and opportunities it presents for businesses.

Key speakers include Cordi O’Hara, President of National Grid UK Electricity Distribution and Sir John Peace, Chair of Midlands Engine.

Organised by Lincolnshire County Council, this landmark conference will take place on 25 February 2025 at the University of Lincoln.

Councillor Colin Davie, the council’s executive councillor for economy, environment and planning is the driving force behind the conference. He said:

“This conference is a unique opportunity for business leaders to come together, explore innovative solutions, and drive the conversation about the transition to net zero while ensuring economic growth and resilience for our communities.

“Our region has a vital role to play in shaping the future of energy in the UK. With a focus on affordability, investment, and innovation, the event will explore how businesses can adapt and thrive while contributing to a resilient and sustainable energy future.

Confirmed Speakers include:

Cordi O’Hara OBE FEI, President of National Grid UK Electricity Distribution, who will share her expertise on transforming the electricity network to meet future demands.

Sir John Peace CVO, CSTJ, Chair of Midlands Engine, who will provide insights into the region's key role in shaping the UK’s energy future.

A number of other national and international influential and inspiring speakers are on the agenda, include Siemens Energy, Dr John Constable, Jepco, Heyco.
