The two routes seeing added improvements are the Calverton in Nottinghamshire and the Mickleover in Derbyshire.
The Calverton will see more services in the evenings. In partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council, trentbarton is increasing the evening frequency to hourly Monday to Thursday and to every 30 minutes on Fridays and Saturdays.
An additional early morning journey is also being put in place Monday to Saturday. Tweaks to the timetable are being made to improve reliability, thanks to feedback from the Calverton’s team.
Connecting Calverton to Nottingham, the service runs through Arnold, Daybrook, Woodthorpe and Sherwood. The new timetable can be seen at: trentbarton.co.uk/services/calverton
Meanwhile, the frequency of the Mickleover is being restored to every 7-8 minutes, with two additional buses joining the fleet. There will also be timetable tweaks to improve reliability, including on Sundays.
Connecting Mickleover with Derby, the Mickleover’s route includes Royal Derby Hospital. trentbarton is working with Derby city council to improve access to Royal Derby Hospital whilst the hospital car park works are ongoing.

“Some of the enhancements follow suggestions from our driving teams and we always welcome customer feedback too.
“We know that getting from A to B on time and in comfort is what makes our customers happy, so we’re sure they will welcome these improvements.”
