The Pavers Foundation, have helped boost funding towards an outside learning space for the students of Langley Mill Academy in Nottinghamshire. The donation of £1,000 from the Pavers Foundation will go towards providing an inspiring and safe outdoor area for the students to be able to read, craft and learn.

Allen Bland, Head Teacher at Langley Mill Academy and successful applicant Lynn Brentall of Pavers Ilkeston with students from the school.

Head Teacher of the school, Allen Bland said, "We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Pavers Foundation for the generous donation. This contribution will help create a space that fosters creativity and learning. Your support means a great deal to us and will make a lasting impact on our school community".

The successful applicant was Lynn Brental, a colleague of Pavers Shoes in Ilkeston, who applied for the donation through the employee-led charitable giving scheme. The school and the local community are important to Lynn, and she wanted to support the Langley Mill Academy as both her grandchildren are currently attending the school. Lynn said, “This cause really does mean a lot to me and the wider community. It will be wonderful knowing that the children will benefit from the donation for years to come”.

The Pavers Foundation is delighted to support causes up and down the UK and beyond, the vast majority of which are nominated by colleagues of the business, with other donations being made on behalf of the Paver family. The Foundation proudly makes a difference to local communities and more recently has taken steps to explore environmentally positive initiatives. To date, the Pavers Foundation has awarded over £2.2 million in donations.
