BRiCS has acquired an 18-acre site at Hulbert Road, in close proximity to Neville’s Park and the A3(M).
Outline planning permission was granted in 2022 for 100 homes including public open space, a children’s play area and access.
BRiCS will now bring forward a reserved matters application, with a view to start building the much-sought after properties in 2026.
Andrew North, Land and Development Director at BRiCS, said: “We are delighted to have acquired this exciting site and look forward to revealing our detailed plans shortly.
“We will be proposing modern, energy-efficient homes that truly complement the local area. These will be family homes that people will be proud to live in.
“We specialise in creating high quality, sustainable new communities that people are proud to call home – and this will be no exception with the plans focused around a communal village squad and play area.
The development site is in a secluded area surrounded by woodland but with strong road connections to the wider south coast, pedestrian access to nearby retail stores.
BRiCS was established at the beginning of 2020 and has since rapidly grown to become a regional housebuilder with two significant developments in Chichester and Bordon, as well as multiple projects progressing through planning.
The business is focused on creating unique communities with thoughtfully-designed architecture, landscaping and character streetscapes, supported by first class customer care.
Andrew added: “This is an exciting opportunity for BRiCS that supports our growth in the south east of England.
“We are focused on acquiring larger, high-quality sites as we build our reputation as a reliable, sustainable housebuilder, ensuring we continue to scale in accordance with our five-year growth plan.”
