Jonathan Allen, owner of the Holly Farm Garden Centre at Prees, will be joining two trained graduates from the Royal Botanical Gardens and an award-winning vegetable gardener.
They team up for a public gardening "Question and Answer" event at Whitchurch Rugby Club, Shropshire, on Monday, 7 April at 7pm. Tickets are on sale now at Gallery Flowers in the High Street, Whitchurch.
The event, organised by Whitchurch Rotary and the town's Garden Club will be answering day-to-day and specialist questions on indoor and outdoor plant issues, flowers and vegetables, maintenance, planting and pest control.
Jonathan Allen is a well-known horticulturist, businessman, retailer of plants, trees and gardening accessories.
Anne Harrison, from Whitewell, trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, and lectured on a wide range of Royal Horticultural Society subjects at Reaseheath College, Nantwich.
Gordon Malt, from Market Drayton, trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh, lectured at Rodbaston College, Staffordshire and was a self-employed specialist in trees and landscaping with a keen interest in all flowering plants.
Bryan Cliff is Chairman of Whitchurch Garden club with numerous successes showing vegetables at local and national competitions.
