Worcestershire Cricket Foundation launches new Black Country Walkers & Talkers initiative at historic museum venue

The Worcestershire Cricket Foundation is proud to announce the launch of The Black Country Walkers & Talkers, a new initiative designed to bring communities together through conversation, connection, and shared stories — all set to take place at the iconic Black Country Living Museum on Monday, 28 April.

Dudley Walkers & Talkers

This free community event invites individuals of all backgrounds to enjoy a relaxed walk through the museum grounds, meet like-minded people, and take part in conversations. The event will feature a special Q&A session with David Banks, a beloved local figure and former Worcestershire and Warwickshire cricketer, who will share his personal journey and experiences in sport and life.

“We are excited to launch the Black Country Walkers & Talkers from The Black Country Living Museum this April,” said Elsa-Marie Evans, Head of Community Programmes for the Worcestershire Cricket Foundation. “Walkers and Talkers is a fantastic initiative that gives people a chance to connect, feel supported, and have the opportunity to share their stories in a meaningful way.”
