From Tuesday, 6 May, Chaserider Buses will introduce a brand-new local bus service 827 operating a circular service between Stafford, Queensville, Baswich, Milford, Brocton and Wildwood then returning to Stafford town centre via Queensville. There will be six journeys daily Monday to Saturday.
From Friday, 16 May, we’re also introducing minor changes to the timetables of Cannock – Pye Green Circulars services 25/26.
From the same date services 70/71 running between Cannock – Cheslyn Hay and Wolverhampton will also have revised timetables.
Kallum Crawford, Local Operations Manager at the Chaserider Buses said: “I am pleased to have worked in partnership with Staffordshire County Council to re-introduce buses to several areas of Stafford which have not been served by bus for a number of years. Residents in Baswich, Brocton village and the large residential area of Wildwood have petitioned for the re-introduction a bus link to Stafford over a lengthy period - we’re pleased to deliver service 827 to meet those requests.”
“The changes being introduced to services 25, 26, 70 and 71 will ensure we continue to provide a regular, reliable and robust network of local bus services our customers expect and deserve.”
Kallum added: “My friendly team of drivers look forward to welcoming residents on board the new local bus service 827 and our network of local bus services. I would encourage non-bus users to try the bus as a viable alternative to using the car and help free up our grid locked roads – it’s much less fuss when you travel by bus – car free - carefree!”
