In the weeks leading up to the holiday, Camberley Manor launched a community Easter donation drive, calling on local residents and businesses to contribute as many eggs as possible. The initiative built on last year’s success, when 105 Easter eggs were collected and donated thanks to the generosity of the local community.
This year, with extraordinary support from local property management company HML and their subcontractors, the care home received an incredible 425 egg donations from their team alone - helping the home more than quadruple their previous total.
Jo Anderson-Woodley, Business Development Manager at Camberley Manor, commented:
"We were absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity shown by HML and their partners. These donations will bring joy to so many members of our community - from those supported by The Hope Hub to the young patients at Frimley Park Hospital. In fact, the response was so generous, we’re now able to extend the donations to additional wards within the hospital. We’re truly grateful to everyone who helped make this initiative such a resounding success."
