The Square, located in the heart of Camberley, prides itself on the events it delivers to the community throughout the school holidays, and this half term is no different.
Kicking off with the arrival of everyone’s favourite character Peppa Pig on Saturday, February 15, children will be able to meet and take a photo with Peppa from the comfort of Hullabaloo on Obelisk Way from 10am – 3:30pm, and at no cost to the parents. Whilst pre-booked VIP slots have proven to be incredibly popular and have already sold out, walk up slots will be available throughout the day, although guests are advised to come early to avoid disappointment.
The following half term week will also see various sessions for children to enjoy from Tuesday 18th – Friday 21st February in Cambridge Square. The full lineup is as follows:
Tuesday 18th February – Prime Acrobatics
Get involved in gymnastics and aerial hoop fun from 10:30am – 2pm
Wednesday 19th February – Little Bees
Paint an ice skate, snowflake or penguin ceramic magnet from 11am-3pm
Thursday 20th February – Artful Kids
Make a paper plate igloo with an eskimo from 11am – 3pm
Friday 21st February – Craft Coop
Make a wooden snowflake keyring from 1:30pm – 3:30pm
The half term activities make the perfect accompaniment to a day’s shopping at The Square, which boast a range of High Street stores including Primark, TK Maxx, New Look, Boots and Waterstones as well as local independent stores. There are also various food and drink options available for a spot of refreshment including Costa Coffee, Auntie Anne’s, Lucky Bubble and Muffin Break.
Gavin Vidley, Centre Manager for The Square Camberley, commented: “We are getting very excited for the arrival of February Fun here at The Square this half term. Come and enjoy all our centre has to offer, with free activities to enjoy throughout the week to keep the little ones busy. Plus don’t forget to come along to meet Peppa Pig at Hullabaloo for a day to remember and snap a photo to last a lifetime! We look forward to seeing you there.”
