Located near Taylor Wimpey’s Ada Gardens development, the Horsley, Bookham and Leatherhead Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) provides therapy and enjoyment for children as young as four, through to young adults with disabilities including Autism, Down's Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Dyspraxia and more.

Led by a team of trained instructors and dedicated volunteers, RDA provides its services entirely through donations, fundraising and sponsorships with local businesses and organisations.

Joanna Marsh, Fundraising Trustee at Horsley, Bookham and Leatherhead Riding for the Disabled Association, said: “We’re delighted with this generous donation from Taylor Wimpey. We love providing as many opportunities as possible for our riders to enjoy themselves, be independent and feel a real sense of achievement, and this donation will help us greatly.”

“Our dedicated team of volunteer coaches, group leaders and helpers are paramount to our continued success, without whom we could not operate. With the assistance of donations and sponsorships, our trained coaches and volunteers can concentrate on maximising the horse riding experience for our riders. We’re always looking for volunteers and sponsors to support the work we do, and we welcome any contributions which will help keep our wonderful community initiative going.”

Louise Adams, Sales Director at Taylor Wimpey South Thames, said: “We’re delighted to have sponsored the RDA with this £2,400 donation. It’s truly inspiring to see the incredible work they do in providing riding experiences for those who otherwise may not have the opportunity.

“We believe in building strong communities, and contributing to organisations like RDA which makes such an impact on the local community, is a huge privilege. We hope this donation will help RDA continue their invaluable work and bring joy to many more individuals.”
