Hove-based specialist insurance broker Quality Care Group (QCG) is celebrating national success after winning ‘Claims Mitigation Strategy of the Year’ at the prestigious Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards 2025.
The awards, which recognise the very best in the UK’s insurance claims sector, took place in London on Thursday 22nd May, with QCG triumphing against leading national firms. Their award-winning strategy focuses on helping care providers across the country reduce risk and avoid claims – through tailored audits, digital resources, and sector-specific guidance.
Managing Director Darren Pollard, who founded the business in Sussex, said:

The win marks the second national trophy for the Hove firm this year, having already picked up ‘Commercial Lines Specialist Broker of the Year’ at the National Insurance Awards in March.
QCG’s in-house claims team – rare in the care insurance sector – was also a finalist in two additional categories: Claims Team of the Year and Excellence in Customer Care. The team supports both care-related and general insurance claims, and is made up of specialists who handle everything in-house, rather than referring customers to insurers, offering a more hands-on, client-centred experience.
