Letter to the editor: Call for sanity has been ignored by Homes England over land west of Ifield

A call for sanity has been ignored yet again by master developer Homes England [‘Public exhibition to be held on plans for 3000 West of Ifield homes’, Crawley Observer, April 8].

The Homes England exhibition is ahead of its planning application for West of Ifield - which includes St Margaret’s Ancient Parish Fields and Ifield Golf Club.

The Planning Inspector has yet to give Homes England’s monstrous masterplan planning permission.

There is now a call within the community to cancel the exhibition and reject the planning application.

It was an insane masterplan 4 years ago - and it’s an insane masterplan now.
