The announcement follows the recent appointment of Lucy Furnival as Managing Director and signals a continued period of growth and transformation for the business, which was recently acquired by the Wolseley Group.
Among the new arrivals is Georgie Clarke, who joins Bluebay as External Technical Sales Manager. Based in Warrington, Georgie will support clients across the North West. She previously worked with Glidevale Protect and, prior to that, spent four years at the BMI Group as a Business Development Manager.
Commenting on her new role, Georgie said: “This is an exciting time for Bluebay. The business is undergoing a significant period of change following its acquisition and the appointment of Lucy – and I wanted to be part of that journey.
“I’ll be working closely with my sales and technical colleagues to help our customers – something I find incredibly rewarding. I’m also looking forward to building long-term relationships with clients and contributing to the company’s continued growth and success.”
The business has also welcomed two new Internal Sales Executives to its Gateshead depot. Dean Maddison joins from Axminster tools, with valuable previous experience gained from a role at Jewson, whilst Sarah Robson joins from Zytronic - with further experience from prior roles at Breedon and Tarmac - further strengthening Bluebay’s customer service and sales support across the region.
Commenting on the new appointments, Mark Rogerson, Regional Director North for Bluebay in the North of England, said: “We’re experiencing strong growth not just in the North, but right across the UK, and I’m delighted to welcome such talented individuals to the team. Each new colleague brings valuable expertise and energy that will support our expansion and enhance the service we provide to major clients across the construction industry.”
Bluebay Building Products is headquartered in Cardiff, with depots in Luton, Gateshead, and Warrington.
